about us

Covenant Christian Ministries Academy exists as a result of our mandate to fulfill our covenant relationship with God by assisting parents in rearing a godly seed (Deuteronomy 6:6, 7).

CCMA offers great opportunities for learning. Our classes are small enough to monitor the needs of each child. Spiritual emphasis is provided through daily Bible class, prayer, memory work and weekly chapel.

In elementary, our academic training includes a phonics-oriented reading program, English, history, spelling, science, penmanship, math, literature, technology classes, physical education, etc.

At the middle/high school level, our goal is to prepare students for post-secondary education. Our core curriculum includes Bible, English, math, science, history, and foreign language. Other electives such as technology, P.E. (swimming/bowling, etc.), and study-skills courses are also made available. Advanced placement (AP) and honor's courses are available to qualified high school students.

Over 50% or our graded population maintains honor roll status (A/B), and standardized test scores reveal that approximately 80% of those tested are on or above grade level. A Beka Book serves as our primary text supplemented by other resources.

about our visionaries

Pastor Anderson is a native of Syracuse, New York, the son of a Baptist preacher, the tenth child of fourteen, and the eighth son of ten boys. At a young age, he was called to preach, and in 1983 at the age of twenty, he began ministering the Word of God. God directed Pastor Anderson to pastor his first church at age twenty-six. Years later, he was prompted to start a non-denominational church. On October 13, 1991, he founded and began pastoring Covenant Christian Ministries/Church. Pastor Anderson attended Syracuse University for 2 years with studies in social work and went on to Bryant & Stratton Business Institute for 2 years before pursuing the call of God on his life. He has since continued his education at More Than Conquerors College. The Pastor was married on December 29, 1984, to his lovely wife, Vanessa.

Mrs. Anderson is a native of Kenansville, North Carolina. At age 17, she entered into a life-changing relationship with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. Through her acknowledgment of Christ first, God has honored her desires and her life’s endeavors.  She received her B.A. in middle grades education from North Carolina Central University and her M.S. in speech-language disorders from Syracuse University. Mrs. Anderson is currently pursuing an EdD (Doctorate of Education) from Oral Roberts University. In obedience to God’s mandate, she presently works along side her husband overseeing the daily operation of the Christian academy. As a teacher to the body of Christ, she provides an orientation to all new members of the church, conducts periodic women’s meetings throughout the year, and ministers to the church at large as directed. The Andersons have two children, Frederick, Jr. and Patience.

Pastor and Mrs. Anderson's dedication and devotion to God and each other have resulted in the tremendous growth of the ministry since its inception in 1991. The Ministry encompasses several locations, with the main worship facility being that of 995 Roswell St., Marietta, GA 30060. Covenant Christian Ministries Academy, in operation since 1994, is currently housed on one campus - 995 Roswell St., Ste. 305, Marietta, GA 30060.
